Located on Great Cumberland Place in the newly opened The Prince Akatoki London Hotel in Marylebone, TOKii serves a vibrant main menu focused on sushi, sashimi, seafood and dishes from the Robata grill.

Designed to bring the best of Eastern and Western flavours together, with Japan at the forefront, the exciting menu uses fresh and international ingredients to create an array of beautifully presented sharing plates.

Among the many dishes, which are divided into sections of hot, cold, mains and sushi; highlights include Green tea soba noodles, tender stem broccoli, chilli, ginger and soy; Tuna Tartare, avocado, miso and lotus crisps; Scallops, celeriac puree, apple and wasabi dressing; and Ox cheek croquettes. Main-wise, the Japanese Grade A5 Wagyu beef with spicy ponzu and truffle fries is not to be missed; as is the Crispy Pork Belly, celeriac, apple and Japanese mustard coleslaw.

TOKii also boasts a full menu of Nigiri, Sashimi and Sushi Roll options, mixed Skewers (meat, fish and vegetable), and fried Tempura. Options include Tuna o-toro; Yellowtail; Seabass; Scallops; and Shrimp.

Open from breakfast, the sleek and stylish central location of the restaurant is bound to be a hit. With a dark and sophisticated colour palette, TOKii embraces a minimalistic decor with a liquid metal wall mural inspired by the ocean, dark timber joinery, blackened cladding and timber screening, dividing the space making this the perfect venue for business lunches and intimate dinners alike. From plush banquettes and traditional seating to the theatrical display at the sushi counter, the restaurant is the perfect accompaniment to the rest of the Japanese inspired hotel. Fusing the best of Japan with a Scandinavian design aesthetic, the hotel is calming and tranquil. The name Akatoki is an old Japanese expression meaning sunrise or dawn. Following the theme, after dinner, guests can retire for a cocktail or two at the stylish and intimate The Malt Lounge & Bar.
